Did you know that what you eat has a direct effect on your personality?
As I began to learn about a healthy lifestyle, one of the first things I learned about is acid/alkaline balance. In their book The Chemistry of Success: Six Secrets of Peak Performance, Susan Lark and James Richards tell us that in is normal, healthy state, the body is slightly alkaline. Our blood must maintain a specific level of alkalinity (7.35 to 7.45). If blood isn’t alkaline enough, it takes minerals from the bones and other body parts to maintain its alkalinity. When the rest of our body starts getting more acidic, we tend to be more prone to disease. Being acidic makes us get tired easier and affects our ability to think clearly.
